Two games, two wins, by a combined four points.

The Bucs won another heart-stopper Monday night over the Texans, 20-19.  They won the game when Rachaad White scored from 2 yards out with 6 seconds left.

But the stud of the game was the quarterback, Baker Mayfield.  He didn’t have his left tackle to start the game.  He lost his right tackle during the game.  He took more than his fair share of hits.  And yet, he willed his team to victory, punctuated by his 4th down scramble on the final drive to keep Tampa Bay alive.  It was the second week in a row Mayfield has driven the Bucs down the field at the end of the game to win it.

Next up: the home opener against the Jets.  The Buccaneers will be wearing their white, 1976 uniforms in honor of the 50th season of the franchise.  Tampa Bay has injury concerns on both sides of the ball, with Calijah Kancey now adding to the list of Bucs on injured reserve.  But 2-0 looks so good right now.
