How can a team look so bad one week, then so dominant the next?

The Buccaneers did just that today, bouncing back in a big way with a 33-16 victory over the Eagles at Ray-Jay.

The Bucs were clicking on all cylinders, with the exception of one play.  Baker Mayfield threw for 347 yards and two TDs, to Mike Evans and Trey Palmer (who left the game with a concussion.)  They rushed for over 100 yards, including Bucky Irving’s first NFL TD.  The defense sacked Jaylen Hurts six times.  Two of them came courtesy of superstar Lavonte David.

The offensive line did give up two sacks, but overall, this unit was far and beyond better than last week’s clunker against Denver.

The only major miscue today was the blocked PAT that the Eagles returned for two points.  But Tampa was easily able to overcome it.

The Bucs have two big divisional road games coming up.  They play in Atlanta on Thursday night, then in New Orleans the following Sunday.
