Coming into this game, both teams were winless.  One of them was going to get its first win.  The winning team broke out in a big way.

Bridgewater State rolled to a 41-0 victory over Framingham State.  The Bears improved to 1-3, while the Rams dropped to 0-4.

The Bears dominated this one from start to finish.  Trevor Nunes rushed for 121 yards and two touchdowns.  Their defense held the Rams to just 129 yards of total offense.  That unit included a TD from defensive lineman Mark DeGirolamo, who scooped up a fumble and rumbled more than half the field into the end zone.

Next week, the Bears host Worcester State.  The Rams hos Fitchburg State.
