The Cowboys from Hardin-Simmons are ranked nationally. Would they be on upset alert against Curry? The answer to that question is an emphatic ‘no.’
The Cowboys dominated this game from the start, putting up a whopping 73 points, rolling to a 73-21 victory over the Colonels.
This game was over early, as you might expect from the final score. Hardin-Simmons got its first points on a safety, when a snap sailed over the Curry punter’s head and into the end zone. The same thing happened later in the quarter. On the ensuing free kick, Dameon Gomes took it 83 yards to the house, and the rout was on. At one point, the Cowboys had a 46-0 advantage.
Kyle Brown threw 3 touchdown passes. Noah Garcia and Braylon Henry each scored twice on the ground.
Curry RB Montie Quinn had one of Curry’s three touchdowns.
NEXT WEEK: Hardin-Simmons is off. Curry travels to Dean.
