The Buccaneers’ offensive line is starting to take shape.
Today, they announced rookie Graham Barton will be their starting center when the season begins against Washington.
Barton, the first-round pick out of Duke, beat out Robert Hainsey for the starting job. Both have been getting a lot of reps with the first-teamers in practice. But Todd Bowles says Barton will be the man in the middle.
Tampa Bay’s offensive line has been a big question mark over the past few years, especially on the interior. Tristan Wirfs? No need to worry about him at tackle. But the others? Hopefully this unit will become a strength in 2024.
